Coffee Bean Technology seeks a freelancer with solid knowledge on the computer network industry to help us to create industry market reports. The ideal candidate has been working in and tracking the computer networking industry and has knowledge of:
- market size and segments
- the players and their relative market share
- the technologies and technology trends
- analyst and media coverage and opinions
- business models and sales channels
- the buyers and users
- etc.
The focus for this role is marketing, business and strategy rather than technical although key enabling technology, technology trends, product line and application will be included. The role requires strong research, compilation and written communication skills and people with prior experience as freelance journalist, editor, strategic consultant for the network industry may fit the role.

Graphic Designer
Job Description
Coffee Bean Technology has an immediate opening for an enthusiastic, talented graphic designer to join our small, passionate team. You will play a pivotal role, creating a new brand, designing show-stopping imagery for our corporate website, and contributing creatively to a new online, interactive product. We are looking for a creative, intelligent and self-motivated individual, who has excellent graphic design, visual and verbal communication, project management and people skills. You should have artistic vision and experience creating brand identity. Your creative leadership will be applied across the new brand, corporate website and in working with the product development team to help design engaging, fun online user experiences for the company's new products. (We are located in Pleasanton, CA.)
Responsibilities:
- Create design solutions from conceptual stage to completion
- Develop entirely new, compelling, emotional creatives that are brand appropriate; establish design guidelines
- Provide creative leadership for the corporate brand and website, and contribute to development to an interactive, online product
- Implement your creative ideas across all marketing materials
- Work closely with senior management
- Work with skilled web developers to bring life to your ideas
Our ideal candidate will possess:
- A strong and varied portfolio of work including brand identity and web design
- Able to understand business objectives, brand essence and branding guidelines, and provide creative design solutions
- Knowledge of the latest web trends and ability to lead web strategy into the future from a creative perspective; experience working with web 2 technology
- Cooperative and collaborate work style; striving to maintain a positive, service-oriented attitude and a track record of accurate, timely work
- Ability to thrive in a busy, multi-tasking environment; reacting quickly to shifting priorities, while maintaining strong attention to detail; willingness to "do what it takes" to meet deadlines when necessary
- Bachelor or Masters degree in graphic design or related field; and/or a thorough understanding of graphic design and theory
- Expert skills in Adobe Creative Suite, MacOSX and Power Point
- 4+ years experience in agency or corporate marketing is a plus
- An interest in contributing creatively to online interactive solutions
